A  natural piece in its original format, which I have included for comparison, but the finished item still retains a simplicity.Capture All too often an artist will over work their creation making it cliched when in actual fact something calming and meaningful can have impact particularly when  contextualised by placing it with a consting piece. Think of the different interpretations of Lincoln you get from this piece and the adjacent work.

Charlie Bartlette

Charlie’s work certainly moves further towards the formalist than most other peice uploaded so far. However there is still much evidence of a naturalistic influence. In this representation of an enclosed space the claustrophobia is exaggerated by the use of reverb; either natural or effected from the computer programme. Once again there is movement along a timeline as well as within the stereo field.  A work which give an impression of some menace.

An interesting discovery for the purity of the project, although this was submitted as a ogg file format the blog system won’t let me upload it! so much for the open source ethos!
